CDP-BIZ linked creative model
Model Creation Overview

What is the CDP-BIZ linked creative model?

  • Creative leading model linked with commercialization (business start-up) be expanding and developing inefficient results following presentation of Capstone design results into business models
  • After selecting items that can be realized as business models among the Capstone design results, a utilization team is selected through business contests within the school (participating professors and students begin utilization agreement procedures through project team actuators)

How is the utilization team composed?

  • The item utilization team composes technology, design, humanities, and arts and sports convergence team (science and engineering tracks that have an idea but not enough business are also possible, but the imbalance of human resources can be resolved through the organization of a convergence team of humanities majors without ideas) → Connect students by major at the venture education center to compose convergence teams that break down the barriers between majors unlike other school clubs

How is the finally selected team managed?

  • Held 'Campus Item Championship' in connection with CDP-BIZ - Selected 10 final teams (39 people) from participant students (1,320) as Item Champions to construct continuous support system for unlimited imagination venture projects (1:1 mentoring + prototype + student future venture room assignment, etc for feedback for successful startup) - Feedback (product sales/verification→collect consumer opinions→revalidation of items→design supplementation→ final product development/venture realization→BI tenant and resource business support)
Major Achievements
  • From the 1,320 students who applied for participation in the CDP-BIZ connected creative education model 'Campus Item Hero' students with creative and excellent business model proposals were selected to organize convergence teams (technology + design + humanities, etc/10 teams, 39 students) to break down the barrier among majors and integrate technologies and ICT fitting to the main players of the creative economy through imagination and creativity. The development of the creative business model is deemed as a major achievement - 1 team 1 item (10 items)
  • This is an exemplary example where members of the college becomes one for the realization of the creative economy and the success of the LINC project. Instead of personal profits, participating professors and students actively cooperated (agreement and support for using projects) in the CDP project for the final results of collaboration and convergence, and the manifestation of unlimited imagination among students participating in the CDP-BIZ linked program acted as success factors
Future Plans
  • Exemplary case of having students jump into the venture business where the market environment continuously changes to have them experience the power of convergence in the improved corporate mindset
  • Future plans are to make up-close collaboration between the initial executor of the CDP project and developer of the extended and developed business model for continuous development support of new items and are planning to open a regular course (3 credits) from the second semester of 2014 to further spread creative venture atmospheres
